Furniture Care is designed to make sure your furniture's appearance is not spoiled by the everyday accidents such as household spills, rips, tears or burns. It provides you with peace of mind that repair costs and stain removal. We also offer Tech Care Policies, find out more here.
Accidents can happen, and when they do, Furniture Care is there to protect you. Here are just some of the spills that could easily happen.
A rip, puncture or scratch to your new furniture can ruin the look and be expensive to repair. Furniture Care covers you for:
Fabric Upholstery - rips, tears and burns.
Leather - rips, tears, burns, punctures, scuffs and scratches.
Cabinet furniture - scratches, watermarks, heat rings, dents, burns and chips as well as covering any glass for scratches, chips and breakage.
- Repair or Replace - if we are not able to repair your furniture, we will replace it. (A maximum of two replacements will apply)
- No Excess - you will be asked to pay an excess in the event of a claim under your Furniture Care policy.
The price of your policy depends on the original purchase price of the furniture and is detailed in the table below:

Some other things you need to know
Furniture Care does not cover everything so please make sure that you have been given an Insurance Product Information Document - this will show you the key exclusions as well as other important information. You should also receive a full set of terms and conditions that you should read carefully to make sure the cover is right for you.
The insurance is arranged and sold by Office Outlet, and underwritten by Lloyd's Syndicate 4444 which is managed by Canopius Managing Agents Limited. It is administered by Castelan Limited. References to 'we/us/our' relates to Canopius Managing Agents Limited.
You can change your mind
Insurance can be cancelled within the first 45 days from purchase, and as long as no claim has been made you will receive a full refund of the premiums paid.
After the first 45 days you can still cancel your insurance at any time and as long as you've not made a claim you will receive a pro rata refund for any full month remaining on your policy.
The insurer can cancel the policy by giving 45 days' written notice to your last known address. If you've not made a claim you would receive a pro rata refund as above.

Office Outlet will share your information with the Furniture Care scheme administrators and insurers for the purpose of arranging and administering your policy and handling your claim. Their details can be found in your terms and conditions along with their Data Protection notices.
For policies purchased on or before 30th June 2018 your policy is administered by Assurant. In the event that an Assurant policy holder wishes to make a claim, make a complaint or have a general query they are required to call the Assurant Care team on 0333 122 0982. Complaints can also be raised by email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
